Terms of Service

Who can play

You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you need a parent's or guardian's permission. One person, one account: extra accounts used to play yourself, manipulate ratings or get around a sanction are not allowed.

Your account

Keep your password safe; you are responsible for what happens under your account. Usernames must not impersonate others or be offensive. We may reset a username that breaks these rules.

Fair play

• Play your own games. No bots, scripts or tools that choose moves for you.
• No collusion: deliberately losing to someone, or playing against your own accounts, to change ratings is cheating.
• Do not exploit bugs. If you find one, tell us at support@playjanken.com.

Behaviour

Be respectful. Harassment, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, scams and sharing other people's private information are not allowed in usernames, profiles, messages or chat. You can block players and turn off messages or match chat at any time.

What you post

You keep ownership of the profile picture, bio and messages you post. You allow us to store and show them as needed to run Janken. Do not post anything you do not have the right to share.

Moderation

We review reports and may remove content, mute, or suspend or ban accounts that break these terms, and may remove rating changes gained unfairly. We decide case by case and try to be fair. If you think we made a mistake, write to support@playjanken.com.

The service

Janken is free and provided "as is". We work to keep it running, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors, and we may change or end features. Ratings and statistics have no monetary value. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the service.

Ending

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; if a change is important, we will let you know on the site before it applies. Continuing to play after that means you accept the new terms. Questions: support@playjanken.com.
